We are pleased to announce we have relaunched our Broadband portfolio. We can now offer contended and uncontended, ADSL and SDSL Broadband services. Broadband is an “always on” connection allowing you to use the Internet, send emails and be on the telephone simultaneously. It is an essential communication tool in the business environment today.
Contended or Uncontended?
If you chose a contended connection, your bandwidth will be shared between other users. The lower the contention ratio the faster speeds that can be achieved as the connection is shared between less users. We offer both 50:1 and 20:1 contended services. These services are great for offices and businesses alike.
If your business is heavily reliant on the Internet for business you many prefer a direct connection to the Internet. Chose one of our uncontended solutions and we guarantee you will not be disappointed.
ADSL or SDSL?
Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) is a technology used primarily for Broadband. It allows data to be downloaded much faster than it can be uploaded, making it suitable for Broadband.
If your business does upload a lot of data you may prefer a Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL). This technology allows data to be uploaded and downloaded at the same speeds.
